Jeffrey A. Goldberger is a partner and co-founder of Atlas. He is responsible for the overall management of the firm, acquisitions and asset management of all Atlas’ real estate investments. Before founding Atlas, Jeff served as Managing Director of UBS Investment Bank’s Global Commercial Real Estate Group, where he invested the firm’s capital on a principal basis in opportunistic / value-added equity investments and high leverage debt instruments. Prior to joining UBS, Jeff was a Principal and the President of The Witkoff Group, LLC, a full service real estate investment firm. Jeff earned a BA in Economics from Tufts University and a MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern Business School.
Mr. Cohen has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to the formation of Atlas, Mr. Cohen was a Managing Director in the Global Commercial Real Estate Group at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Cohen joined UBS Investment Bank in 2001 and was responsible for the origination, structuring and closing of large and complex debt instruments as well as the sale of the group’s investments into the capital markets. Mr. Cohen teamed up with Mr. Goldberger in 2002 to develop the real estate equity investment platform at UBS Investment Bank. From 2002-2006, Mr. Cohen invested UBS’ capital on a principal basis in opportunistic / valued-added equity investments and high leverage debt instruments. Prior to joining UBS Investment Bank, Mr. Cohen was a practicing real estate attorney at Schulte, Roth & Zabel LLP where he structured and closed complex debt and equity real estate transactions while representing real estate developers, real estate funds and investment banks. Mr. Cohen graduated from Princeton University in 1989 and from Fordham University School of Law in 1994.
Ms. Renton joined Atlas in 2014. She is responsible for overseeing the operating aspects of all assets within the Atlas portfolio including asset management, property management and operations, construction, leasing. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Renton was a Principal at AION Partners where she led the asset management division while also focusing on managing relationships with individual and institutional equity partners and new property acquisitions. Ms. Renton was previously a member of JPMorgan’s Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Large Loan Structuring Group. Ms. Renton received an M.B.A. with honors in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Ms. Gabrielli joined Atlas is 2006. She is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day management and asset management initiatives. She is involved in strategic business plan decisions, liaising with project teams, overseeing capital expenditures and legal coordination. She works directly with the asset management teams on marketing, leasing, contracts, entitlements, and construction. Prior to that she was the firm’s Senior Director – Real Estate Operations and a Residential Asset Manager. Ms. Gabrielli graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Information Management & Technology.
Ms. Restino joined Atlas in 2016. She is responsible for accounting, financial reporting and treasury functions across the portfolio. Prior to joining Atlas, she was the Corporate Controller for the LeFrak Organization where she was responsible for accounting, cash management and financial reporting for numerous property management, leasing, construction and corporate entities. Before joining LeFrak, Ms. Restino held financial leadership positions with the Elad Group and DMB Associates, both privately held real estate investment and development companies. Ms. Restino graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Ms. Fontaine joined Atlas in 2015. She is responsible for the creative direction, pre-planning, design and successful execution of development and renovation projects including the day-to-day management of the consultant teams across varying asset types from Entitlements through Construction. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Fontaine was an Associate at Architecture+Information, where she was a Senior Project Architect for core and shell and interior projects as well as a team member of the leadership structure within the firm. Ms. Fontaine is a registered architect in New York state and has 20+ years of experience in the field of architecture and construction as a developer, lead designer, project manager and team leader with a focus on adaptive reuse in all sectors including core and shell work, workplace interiors, healthcare, retail, hospitality and residential. Ms. Fontaine graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelors in Architecture and Fine Arts.
Ms. Harris joined Atlas in 2015. She is responsible for West Coast property management operations including tenant and vendor relations, expense management and budgeting, tenant improvement management, capital project and leasing oversight. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Harris was a Portfolio Manager at Douglas Emmett, with the responsibility of overseeing management, leasing, re-positioning and acquisitions of Class A office assets in the Beverly Hills, Century City, and Brentwood submarkets in Los Angeles. In addition, Ms. Harris served on the Building Owners and Managers' Greater Los Angeles Chapter's prestigious TOBY committee for 5 years. Ms. Harris graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in Journalism.
Ms. Hauserman joined Atlas in 2021. She is responsible for leading the construction team and operations for all Atlas projects from preconstruction planning through execution and close out. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Hauserman spent 37 years in the construction industry with a broad range of experience across multiple platforms including core and shell, interior renovations and building repositioning. Prior to joining Atlas, she was the Building Repositioning Business Sector Lead for Tishman Construction, with a focus on revitalizing aging assets to bring them to contemporary standards; both aesthetically and through comprehensive infrastructure upgrades with façade replacement and building systems upgrades. Ms. Hauserman graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in International Careers; combining International Studies and Economics.
Ms. Irushalmi joined Atlas in 2016. She liaises with all departments to implement business plans through the execution of marketing, leasing, construction, development, entitlement and legal projects for both the Los Angeles and New York portfolios. Previously, she was responsible for underwriting new investments in addition to conducting due diligence and closing transactions. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Irushalmi was an Analyst in the CMBS group at Cantor Fitzgerald. Ms. Irushalmi graduated from Duke University with a BA in History and a certificate in Markets and Management Studies.
Mr. Jauntig joined Atlas in 2016. He is responsible for East Coast property operations including tenant matters, vendor relations, expense management and budgeting. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Jauntig was a Senior Property Manager at RXR Realty, where he led the management team for a prominent Class A commercial property in Manhattan. Mr. Jauntig graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in Business and earned a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Mr. Wasserman joined Atlas in 2022. He is responsible for asset management of a portfolio of New York City projects, including overseeing leasing, property operations, capital projects, and lender and investor relations. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Wasserman was a First Vice President at RXR, where he oversaw a portfolio of assets within the New York City market. He was previously an Asset Manager at Time Equities and Benbrooke Realty. Mr. Wasserman received both an M.B.A and B.S. in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Mr. Weng joined Atlas in 2017. He is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, audit & tax compliance, and operations functions for the Atlas Capital Funds. Prior to joining Atlas, he was the Fund Controller for Och-Ziff Capital Management where he was responsible for operations, accounting and financial reporting for their real estate funds. Prior to that, he was with Deloitte & Touche, where he managed financial statement audits of private equity firms. Mr. Weng graduated from SUNY Albany with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Ms. Icke joined Atlas in 2019. She is responsible for commercial asset management including overseeing leasing, property operations, capital projects, and investor reporting. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Icke was a Director in Savills’ National Capital Markets Team where she assisted institutions, corporations, nonprofits, and other owners in maximizing real estate value through monetization strategies that incorporated the use of structured financial products. Ms. Icke was previously a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Corporate Finance & Investment Banking team based in New York City. Ms. Icke graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics & Management.
Ms. Kaneva joined Atlas in 2022. She is responsible for construction and development of projects in the Los Angeles area. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Kaneva was a Project Director at Project Management Advisors, Inc. where she was responsible for leading teams and projects from due diligence and planning though construction and close out for clients that included Los Angeles developers and a major Fortune 100 Tech Company. Ms. Kaneva has over 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry with a wide range of residential, office, retail, restaurant, and studio projects including ground up, repositioning and tenant improvements. Ms. Kaneva received a Master of Architecture from University of California at Berkeley and graduated from University of Nebraska with a B.S. in Design and Architecture.
Mr. Kitchen joined Atlas in 2020. He is responsible for the asset management of ROW DTLA including overseeing leasing, property operations, capital projects and investor reporting. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Kitchen was a Vice President of Development at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield where he was responsible for the redevelopment and repositioning of retail and mixed use assets in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Mr. Kitchen graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and earned a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
Ms. Yi joined Atlas in 2017. She is responsible for creating and managing the Marketing & Events strategy at ROW DTLA, driving various forms of marketing across multiple channels, activations and partnerships. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Yi held various Marketing & Events roles at Anschutz Entertainment Group and Wolfgang Puck Catering across multiple large-scale venues in Los Angeles. Ms. Yi graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S. in Hospitality Management and a Minor in Marketing.
Mr. Vander Hulst joined Atlas in 2022. He is responsible for commercial asset management including overseeing leasing, operations, capital projects and investor reporting. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Vander Hulst was on the leasing and asset management team at Granite Properties where he oversaw a Class A office portfolio in Southern California. Before Granite, Mr. Vander Hulst held various positions at Lincoln Property Company working on office, retail, and industrial projects. In addition, Mr. Vander Hulst is an active member of NAIOP and ULI.
Mr. Vander Hulst graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.Sc. in Finance.
Ms. Worscheh joined Atlas in 2020 as part of the Asset Management team. She is responsible for financial matters including all analysis and investor reporting for assets in both the New York and Los Angeles portfolios. In addition, she contributes to leasing, property operations, and capital projects. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Worscheh was an Associate in Savills’ National Capital Markets Group, where she assisted institutions, corporations, non-profits, and other owners in maximizing real estate value through monetization strategies that incorporated the use of structured financial products. Ms. Worscheh graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics.
Mr. Jordan joined Atlas in 2016. He is responsible for the day-to-day property operations at ROW DTLA, including tenant improvements, customer service, tenant/vendor relations, expense management and budgeting. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Jordan managed properties for Commercial Office REITs in the Los Angeles area. He was a Property Manager at Douglas Emmett with responsibilities of overseeing the day-to-day operations of office properties located in Beverly Hills and Century City submarkets. Prior to that, he worked at Arden Realty, Inc. managing commercial office properties in the Long Beach, El Segundo, Santa Monica and Brentwood submarkets. Mr. Jordan graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology.
Mr. Spiritos joined Atlas in 2021. He is responsible for underwriting new investments across all product types and markets in addition to conducting due diligence and assisting with the closing of transactions. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Spiritos was a Senior Development Analyst at JBG SMITH (formerly The JBG Companies), where he managed mixed-use development projects throughout the D.C. metro area. Mr. Spiritos graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Economics and earned an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Kavourias joined Atlas in 2021 as part of the Asset Management team. He is responsible for financial analysis, investor reporting and execution of select business plan objectives across his portfolio which includes assets in both New York and Los Angeles. He also plays a key role in the acquisition process across all product types. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Kavourias was an Associate at Related Companies in their high yield credit fund where he underwrote construction and bridge loans for all asset types across the U.S. Mr. Kavourias graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Finance.
Mr. Rodriguez joined Atlas in 2016. With over 20 years of experience in maintenance and operations, he is responsible for all facility and maintenance operations at ROW DTLA, and other assets totaling over 2.4 million square feet. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Rodriguez was a Chief Engineer at Douglas Emmett Management, where he was responsible for a five (5) Class-A building portfolio in Brentwood California. Prior to that, he was Chief Engineer at Jones Lang LaSalle responsible for 1.2 million square feet of Class-A office space and multi-use tilt-up industrial properties in Los Angeles.
Mr. Daversa joined Atlas in 2012. He is responsible for the on-site construction management of Atlas’ capital improvement and renovation projects. Mr. Daversa has over 15 years of construction and facilities management experience in residential, office, hospitality and retail projects. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Daversa was a Construction Manager at B&B Construction. Mr. Daversa graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S in Business Administration.
Mr. Brand joined Atlas in 2022. He is responsible for the management of construction and capital improvement projects, including repair and maintenance of building infrastructure and mechanical systems. Mr. Brand has over seven years of construction experience working on projects including building repositioning, core and shell façade installations, and interior fit-outs. Prior to joining Atlas, he was a Project Manager for Tishman Construction where he was responsible for managing construction projects from preconstruction through execution and closeout, and the field supervision of construction activities.
Mrs. Camarena joined Atlas in 2018. She is responsible for the day-to-day property operations and leasing at the 7th Street Produce Market, including tenant and capital improvements, customer service, tenant/vendor relations, expense management and budgeting. Prior to joining Atlas, Mrs. Camarena was an Assistant Portfolio Manager for Medical Office REITs with PMB Real Estate Services. She managed properties in the Los Angeles, Burbank, Glendale, San Gabriel, and Santa Clarita area. Prior to that, she was with Equity Office Properties LLC where she assisted in the management of high-rise and mid-rise commercial office properties in the Los Angeles and Newport Beach area.
