Mr. Goldberger has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. From 1988-1996, Mr. Goldberger was the founding Principal and President of JAG Capital, a boutique privately held real estate investment company which specialized in value-added real estate equity investments and distressed debt opportunities. In 1997, Mr. Goldberger became a Principal and the President of The Witkoff Group, LLC, a full service real estate investment firm. Under Mr. Goldberger’s guidance, from 1997-2002, The Witkoff Group, LLC acquired approximately 15 million sq. ft. of commercial real estate. In 2002, Mr. Goldberger joined UBS Investment Bank to develop and manage the real estate equity investment platform within the Global Commercial Real Estate Group. From 2002-2006, until the formation of Atlas, Mr. Goldberger invested UBS’ capital on a principal basis in opportunistic / value-added equity investments and high leverage debt instruments. After receiving a BA in Economics from Tufts University in 1984, Mr. Goldberger earned an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern Business School in 1986.
Mr. Cohen has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to the formation of Atlas, Mr. Cohen was a Managing Director in the Global Commercial Real Estate Group at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Cohen joined UBS Investment Bank in 2001 and was responsible for the origination, structuring and closing of large and complex debt instruments as well as the sale of the group’s investments into the capital markets. Mr. Cohen teamed up with Mr. Goldberger in 2002 to develop the real estate equity investment platform at UBS Investment Bank. From 2002-2006, Mr. Cohen invested UBS’ capital on a principal basis in opportunistic / valued-added equity investments and high leverage debt instruments. Prior to joining UBS Investment Bank, Mr. Cohen was a practicing real estate attorney at Schulte, Roth & Zabel LLP where he structured and closed complex debt and equity real estate transactions while representing real estate developers, real estate funds and investment banks. Mr. Cohen graduated from Princeton University in 1989 and from Fordham University School of Law in 1994.
Mr. Wood joined Atlas in 2007. He is responsible for all U.S. acquisitions including research, financial analysis and projections. Mr. Wood began his career at Atlas as a Senior Acquisitions Analyst and Asset Manager. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Wood was a Senior Financial Analyst at The JBG Companies, where he underwrote commercial, residential, hotel and mixed-use real estate investments and was responsible for asset management functions. Mr. Wood graduated from Dartmouth College where he graduated with a degree in Economics.
Mr. Flynn joined Atlas in 2006. He is responsible for all accounting functions at the corporate and partnership levels. Prior to joining Atlas, he was a Vice President at Vornado Realty Trust. Mr. Flynn was responsible for accounting, SEC compliance, management reporting and financial analysis for joint ventures. Before joining Vornado, he had been Director of Financial Reporting at Haights Cross Communications, Inc. Prior to that, he was with Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Flynn graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Ms. Gabrielli joined Atlas in 2006. She is responsible for the firm's day-to-day operations. She is involved in developing strategic management initiatives, liaising with project teams, overseeing capital expenditures and legal coordination. She works directly with the asset management teams on marketing, retail and office leasing, contracts, entitlements, permits and budgeting for the Los Angeles portfolio and New York residential assets. Prior to that, she was the firm's Residential Asset Manager, responsible for residential property operations including marketing, sales, leasing, tenant matters and legal coordination. Ms. Gabrielli graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Information Management & Technology.
Ms. Harris joined Atlas in 2015. She is responsible for West Coast property management operations including tenant and vendor relations, expense management and budgeting, tenant improvement management, capital project and leasing oversight. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Harris was a Portfolio Manager at Douglas Emmett, with the responsibility of overseeing management, leasing, re-positioning and acquisitions of Class A office assets in the Beverly Hills, Century City, and Brentwood submarkets in Los Angeles. In addition, Ms. Harris served on the Building Owners and Managers' Greater Los Angeles Chapter's prestigious TOBY committee for 5 years. Ms. Harris graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in Journalism.
Ms. Restino joined Atlas in 2016. She is responsible for accounting, financial reporting and treasury functions across the portfolio. Prior to joining Atlas, she was the Corporate Controller for the LeFrak Organization where she was responsible for accounting, cash management and financial reporting for numerous property management, leasing, construction and corporate entities. Before joining LeFrak, Ms. Restino held financial leadership positions with the Elad Group and DMB Associates, both privately held real estate investment and development companies. Ms. Restino graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Ms. Renton joined Atlas in 2014. She is responsible for managing commercial assets within the Atlas portfolio including overseeing leasing, property operations, capital projects and investor relationships. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Renton was a Principal at AION Partners where she led the asset management division while also focusing on managing relationships with individual and institutional equity partners and new property acquisitions. Ms. Renton was previously a member of JPMorgan's Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Large Loan Structuring Group. Ms. Renton received an M.B.A. with honors in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Mr. Fehskens joined Atlas in 2014. He is responsible for commercial property operations including market analysis, leasing, tenant matters, expense management, budgeting and reporting. Prior to joining Atlas, he was an Asset Manager at Time Equities, Inc. where he was primarily responsible for managing the Manhattan office portfolio, serving as project manager and investment analyst. Mr. Fehskens graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, received a graduate certificate from Maryland Bankers School and earned a Master’s in Real Estate Finance from New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate. Mr. Fehskens holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and LEED AP designations.
Ms. Leslie joined Atlas in 2017. She is responsible for the asset management of ROW DTLA including overseeing leasing, property operations, and the overall stabilization of the 30 acre site located in the heart of Los Angeles. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Leslie was a Senior Asset Manager at Watt Companies where she directed a portfolio of retail, office and multifamily assets as well as headed up acquisitions for the division. Ms. Leslie received an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University and graduated from Vanderbilt University with B.A. in Economics and Art History.
Ms. Fontaine joined Atlas in 2015. She is responsible for the creative direction of projects including managing and directing project architectural and design teams throughout the design and construction phases. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Fontaine was an Associate at Architecture+Information, where she was a Senior Project Manager for core and shell and interior projects as well as a team member of the leadership structure within the firm. Ms. Fontaine is a registered architect in New York state and has over 15 years of experience in the field of architecture as a designer, project manager and team leader with a focus on adaptive reuse in all sectors including core and shell work, corporate interiors, healthcare, retail, hospitality and residential. Ms. Fontaine graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelors in Architecture and Fine Arts.
Mr. Riches joined Atlas in 2017. He is responsible for the retail leasing of all West Coast assets. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Riches was a Senior Leasing Agent at Douglas Emmett, with the responsibility of overseeing the leasing of a Class A office portfolio consisting of three million square feet. These assets are in the Warner Center submarket of Los Angeles. Prior to this, Mr. Riches served as the Southern California Director of Leasing for Embarcadero Capital Partners. He had oversight of a one million square foot, six building portfolio which ranged from Westlake Village to Pasadena. Before working in house as a Director of Leasing, Mr. Riches worked as an independent broker completing more than 1,000 lease and sale transactions in Southern California. Mr. Riches graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Communications.
Mr. Nguyen joined Atlas in 2012. He is responsible for acquisition financial analysis, research and projections. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Nguyen was an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick Goldman. Prior to that, he was an Analyst in the Specialty Finance & Mortgage REIT Group at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Nguyen graduated from the University of California Berkeley, Haas School of Business and from Columbia University, where he obtained Master of Science in Real Estate Development.
Mr. Jauntig joined Atlas in 2016. He is responsible for East Coast property operations including tenant matters, vendor relations, expense management and budgeting. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Jauntig was a Senior Property Manager at RXR Realty, where he led the management team for a prominent Class A commercial property in Manhattan. Mr. Jauntig graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in Business and earned a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Mr. Blum joined Atlas in 2008. He is responsible for all construction, capital improvement and renovation projects as well as the repair and maintenance of building infrastructure and systems. Mr. Blum has over 24 years of project management experience in office, residential and retail construction projects. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Blum was a Senior Project Manager/Account Executive at Vanguard Construction & Development. Mr. Blum graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Architecture and from Clemson University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture.
Ms. Wyrick joined Atlas in 2017. She is responsible for brand strategy, marketing and production of ROW DTLA tenant activations and events. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Wyrick was the CEO of Celadon & Celery Events, and Managing Director of Events at DFM, a digital marketing and influencer agency. As Managing Director, Ms. Wyrick provided creative direction and leadership to the content, design, and production teams. Ms. Wyrick has over 12 years of experience in event production, business development and brand ideation. Ms. Wyrick graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelors in Psychology and Marketing.
Mr. DiMaggio joined Atlas in 2018. He is responsible for development and construction of tenant improvement projects in the Los Angeles area. Mr. DiMaggio has over 20 years of construction and design experience in commercial interiors. Prior to joining Atlas, he was Vice President of Development for SoulCycle and Equinox Fitness, responsible for all pre-lease through opening project execution. Mr. DiMaggio graduated from Iona College with a B.S. in Construction Management.
Mr. Tschudin joined Atlas in 2018. He is responsible for construction and development projects in the Los Angeles area. Mr. Tschudin has over 30 years of related experience in adaptive re-use renovations. Prior to joining Atlas, he was the Construction Manager for the 45 story Symphony project in Honolulu, Hawaii, comprised of 388 luxury condos. Mr. Tschudin graduated from CSU Fullerton, entering the construction industry soon after.
Mr. Lorntzen joined Atlas in 2017. He is responsible for construction and development projects in the Los Angeles area. Mr. Lorntzen brings over 35 years of experience in general contracting, development management of retail, single family, multi-family mixed use and office projects. Mr. Lorntzen’s recent projects include a 467-unit apartment complex with 6 story parking structure, a full retail and office restoration in Newport Beach, and a 267-unit apartment complex in Tempe Lakes.
Mr. Boutwell joined Atlas in 2014. He is responsible for underwriting new investments across all product types and markets in addition to conducting due diligence and assisting with the closing of transactions. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Boutwell was an Acquisitions Analyst at Beacon Capital Partners in Boston, where he underwrote office investments for Beacon’s Fund VI primarily in New York and Denver and was responsible for a wide variety of portfolio management and analysis. Mr. Boutwell graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Government.
Mr. Weng joined Atlas in 2017. He is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, audit & tax compliance, and operations functions for the Atlas Capital Funds. Prior to joining Atlas, he was the Fund Controller for Och-Ziff Capital Management where he was responsible for operations, accounting and financial reporting for their real estate funds. Prior to that, he was with Deloitte & Touche, where he managed financial statement audits of private equity firms. Mr. Weng graduated from SUNY Albany with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Mr. Jordan joined Atlas in 2016. He is responsible for the day-to-day property operations at ROW DTLA, including tenant improvements, customer service, tenant/vendor relations, expense management and budgeting. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Jordan managed properties for Commercial Office REITs in the Los Angeles area. He was a Property Manager at Douglas Emmett with responsibilities of overseeing the day-to-day operations of office properties located in Beverly Hills and Century City submarkets. Prior to that, he worked at Arden Realty, Inc. managing commercial office properties in the Long Beach, El Segundo, Santa Monica and Brentwood submarkets. Mr. Jordan graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology.
Mr. Daversa joined Atlas in 2012. He is responsible for the on-site construction management of Atlas’ capital improvement and renovation projects. Mr. Daversa has over 15 years of construction and facilities management experience in residential, office, hospitality and retail projects. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Daversa was a Construction Manager at B&B Construction. Mr. Daversa graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S in Business Administration.
Ms. Yi joined Atlas in 2017. She is responsible for managing all events at ROW DTLA from outreach to sales to operations. Additionally, Ms. Yi oversees marketing for ROW DTLA, charged with driving traffic and building awareness for the multi-use property through partnerships, internal programming and activations. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Yi was an Event Sales Manager at Anshutz Entertainment Group and Wolfgang Puck Catering, where she managed events at multiple large-scale venues across Los Angeles. Ms. Yi graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S. in Hospitality Management and a Minor in Marketing.
Mr. Matos joined Atlas in 2012. He is responsible for property accounting operations, financial reporting and audit and tax compliance across the portfolio. Prior to joining Atlas, he was an accountant at Avaya Inc., handling financial reporting for a nationwide corporate real estate portfolio consisting of 150 locations. Prior to that, he was an accountant at Newmark Knight Frank. Mr. Matos graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with a degree in accounting.
Ms. Irushalmi joined Atlas in 2016. She is responsible for underwriting new investments across all product types and markets in addition to conducting due diligence and assisting with the closing of transactions. Prior to joining Atlas, Ms. Irushalmi was an Analyst in the CMBS group at Cantor Fitzgerald, where she originated fixed and floating-rate loans across all asset types and was responsible for transaction management and underwriting. Ms. Irushalmi graduated from Duke University with a BA in History and a certificate in Markets and Management Studies.
Mr. Greenbaum joined Atlas in 2016. He is responsible for underwriting new investments across all product types and markets in addition to conducting due diligence and assisting with the closing of transactions. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Greenbaum spent three summers working for Cantor Fitzgerald in its CMBS origination team, Apollo Global Management in its real estate private equity group, and Morgan Stanley in its healthcare investment banking division. Mr. Greenbaum graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Applied Economics & Management.
Mr. Mohr joined Atlas in 2017. He is responsible for underwriting new investments across all product types and markets in addition to conducting due diligence and assisting with the closing of transactions. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Mohr was an analyst at Eastdil Secured, where he underwrote office, hotel, multifamily, retail, and industrial assets for the investment sales, debt placement, and investment banking divisions. Mr. Mohr graduated from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University with a focus in finance and a minor in real estate.
Mr. Rodriguez joined Atlas in 2016. With over 20 years of experience in maintenance and operations, he is responsible for all facility and maintenance operations at ROW DTLA, and other assets totaling over 2.4 million square feet. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Rodriguez was a Chief Engineer at Douglas Emmett Management, where he was responsible for a five (5) Class-A building portfolio in Brentwood California. Prior to that, he was Chief Engineer at Jones Lang LaSalle responsible for 1.2 million square feet of Class-A office space and multi-use tilt-up industrial properties in Los Angeles.
